Fortnite’s PlayStation Cup is coming back this week
Epic Games has announced that the PlayStation Cup is returning to Fortnite later this week on January 14th and January 15th.
The tournament is exclusive to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 players and is split into two rounds of solo competition. The first round is an open competition for all players that gives three hours to play 10 games and earn as many points as possible.
The top 100 players in each region after the first round can progress to round two. In this round, the 100 players will compete in six matches to earn as many points as they can. A total prize pool of $107,100 will be split between the top 64 players in Europe, North America, and Brazil, and the top 20 players in Oceania and the Middle East.
To take part in the tournament, players must have two-factor authentication on their Epic Games account and also have an account level of at least 50.
Fortnite is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile.
