Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 lets players phase through walls, introduces Spider-Gwen
Fortnite Chapter 3′s latest season, Paradise, embraces the Chrome.
As part of Season 4, the Chrome Splash has been introduced, which can be used in multiple ways. For one, players can throw it any structure to make it penetrable and then phase right through it, including player-made wood, brick, and metal structures.
Alternatively, players can use it on themselves to turn into Chrome. While in this state, players are immune to fire damage and can turn into a Blob while sprinting, which makes them move faster, be immune to fall damage, and grants the ability to air dash. Dash into any structure while Chrome to “Chrome-ify” it and then phase through it.
Players can also find the new Herald’s Sanctum point of interest and a few updated points of interest that are now in the air to escape the Chrome. One example is Condo Canyon, which now goes by the name Cloudy Condos.
Other changes include two new Chrome weapons which upgrade in rarity with kills, several returning weapons and items, a sniper balance pass, and Keys that open vaults filled with loot hidden across the island.
Finally, a new Battle Pass is now available, which grants immediate access to Paradigm (Reality-659). Work through the pass to unlock Spider-Gwen, Bytes, Grriz, Meow Skulls, Lennox Rose, and Tywn.
