Fortnite brings back Lightsabers and the E-11 Blaster Rifle
Star Wars has returned to Fortnite in celebration of May the 4th, otherwise known as Star Wars Day.
Starting today, May 3rd, until May 17th, players will be able to find Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber, Kylo Ren’s Lightsaber, Mace Windu’s Lightsaber, and Obi-Wan’s Lightsaber across the island. Additionally, the E-11 Blaster Rifle has returned to the game. Visit one of the checkpoints set up by the Stormtroopers to aid in their hunt for Obi-Wan to exchange Bars for a blaster or find them in chests and on the ground.
Players can also complete a new series of Star Wars Quests that require them to “confiscate a ‘landspeeder’ (a.k.a. a vehicle), confiscate and use ‘Jedi contraband’ (a.k.a. a lightsaber), and more.” Each quest will reward XP, with an Empire Banner on offer for completing all five.
Finally, every non-Battle Pass Star Wars outfit is returning to the Item Shop, including Kylo Ren, Finn, Rey, Boba Fett, and Fennec Shand.
Fortnite is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile.
