Football Manager 2021 announced for PC, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and mobile

Sega and Sports Interactive have unveiled the latest entry in the Football Manager series.

This year’s entry will place “a renewed focus on the manager,” according to Sega, with more tools for managers to develop their personalities and prowess. Players can also expect “new additions and game upgrades produce unparalleled levels of football authenticity as well as extra layers of depth and drama.”

In addition to revealing the game for PC, Sega announced that the series is returning to Xbox this year. The Xbox Edition of the game will be available on both current and next-gen consoles and is a tailored version of the game that has been optimized for controllers.

“Football Manager 2021 is a historic release for us as a studio,” studio director Miles Jacobson said. “We’re bringing FM to more platforms than ever before and giving more people the chance to manage their favorite club – whether that’s on their PC, from the comfort of their sofa or on their phone or tablet.”

Football Manager 2021 is scheduled to release for PC on November 24th, with the Xbox Edition and Touch version for Nintendo Switch and mobile following before the end of the year. Preordering the game on PC will grant early access roughly two weeks before launch.
