First look at Babylon in Civilization VI
2K and Firaxis Games have shared a first look at Babylon, the next civilization joining Civilization VI.
Babylon is led by Hammurabi, the sixth king of the First Babylonian Dynasty, who is best known for establishing the Code of Hammurabi and the presumption of innocence. Hammurabi’s unique ability constructs the lowest production cost building in each specialty district for free the first time that district is built.
This new civilization also has access to the Sabum Kibittum, an Ancient Era melee unit with increased movement and sight, and the Enuma Anu Enlil unique ability that makes it so Eurekas provide full science bonus towards technologies.
Finally, Babylon has access to the Palgum unique building which is unlocked through Irrigation and replaces the Watermill. The Palgum offers additional production of housing, as well as increased food generation from freshwater tiles.
Babylon is scheduled to release November 19th as part of the New Frontier Pass. The civilization will be accompanied by six new City States, 24 new Great People, and a new game mode called Heroes and Legends.
