FIFA 22 update stops goalkeepers using their hands outside of the box
Title Update 13 for FIFA 22 has arrived on consoles and Stadia following its release on PC.
This latest update for the game prevents goalkeepers from making saves with their hands while outside the box and fixes a visual issue with chemistry links not displaying correctly in co-op Ultimate Team.
In addition, incorrect lighting should no longer occur during a match following this update. Read the full patch notes below:
FIFA Ultimate Team
Addressed the following issue:
- When viewing the Captain’s Squad in a Co-Op lobby, chemistry links did not always display correctly.
– This was a visual issue only.

- In some rare cases, goalkeepers would attempt to make a save with their hands outside of the box.

- Addressed some instances of incorrect lighting occurring during a match.
