Farming Simulator 22 announced
Giants Software has announced that the latest entry in its Farming Simulator series will be coming to consoles, PC, and Stadia later this year.
Farming Simulator 22 is being self-published by Giants Software and introduces two new maps, an updated alpine Erlengrat map, and a new seasons system that will bring snow to the game. Fans of the series can also look forward to new crops, machines, and brands in this year’s entry.
In addition to the above, the game features more realistic AI behavior, better sound, and performance improvements, including DirectX 12 support, multi-threading optimization, texture streaming, temporal anti-aliasing, and more.
“We are further growing with our games and the upcoming result of our cultivated ambitions will be a milestone in the series’ history as well as our company, which developed into a self-determined publisher in full control of its product,” Giants Software CEO Christian Ammann said.
Farming Simulator 22 is scheduled to launch in Q4 2021 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
