Far Cry 6 and Rainbow Six Quarantine have been delayed
Ubisoft revealed during its latest financial report that both Far Cry 6 and Rainbow Six Quarantine have been pushed into fiscal year 2021/22.
This basically means that both games are now expected to release between April 2021 and March 2022. Far Cry 6 was originally given a February 18th, 2021, release date, while Rainbow Six Quarantine was scheduled to release before April 2021.
“While we know you are all anxious to get your hands on Far Cry 6, we want to let you know that we’ve been given more time to allow us to make this the game you aspire to play while focusing on the well-being of our teams in this unprecedented global context,” a message from the Far Cry development team added.
“Our teams around the world are working in the studios and from their homes to pour their passion and creativity into making an unforgettable game – one we hope you will love. We hope you are all safe and healthy, and get ready to experience Yara and Far Cry 6 soon.”
Far Cry 6 and Rainbow Six Quarantine are in development for Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
