Updated liveries, Día de Muertos-themed items, and more are coming to F1 22 in the near future, Codemasters has revealed.
To start with, the sports livery update arrives next week on October 31st. As part of this update, all of the teams will see changes to car geometry, bodywork, sponsors, and color, as well as adjustments to team attires, hospitality spaces, and garage look. Get a glimpse at the new looks below:
In addition to this, a Día de Muertos-themed set, including car livery, race suit, cap, helmet, and boots, has been added as unlockable VIP content in Podium Pass Series 3 until December 7th. There’s also a special time-limited livery inspired by Alice in Wonderland’s Cheshire Cat to claim from October 31st through December 5th.
Finally, a new cosmetic set inspired by the Queen of Hearts can be purchased from the Item Shop from November 2nd until November 8th.
“With each race, F1 Teams are constantly evolving their car liveries and designs. This year we have been working harder than ever to deliver a wide range of upgrades for every team on the grid, to ensure that our sports update is our biggest and most authentic to date, bringing our players closer than ever to the real thing,” Paul Jeal, Senior Director F1 Franchise at Codemasters, said. “We hope fans also enjoy some of the festive items we have included this time around.”
F1 22 is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
