F1 22 adds Portimao in new update
A new update is coming for F1 22 later today that will introduce the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve, otherwise known as Portimao, to the game.
To accompany the announcement, developer Codemasters shared a new trailer for the game that shows two-time winner Lewis Hamilton racing a lap around the circuit. Watch it below:
“We know our players love the thrill of competing on more circuits, and they don’t get much better than Portimao,” Lee Mather, F1 Senior Creative Director at Codemasters, said. “Portimao is highly revered with a proud history, and our players will love the challenge of taking the 2022-designed cars onto the hallowed circuit for the first time.”
Codemasters also revealed that China’s Shanghai International Circuit will be added to the game on September 12th via a free update.
F1 22 is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
