F1 2022 trailer shows off immersive mode, circuit updates, F1 Life, and more
Codemasters has shared a new trailer for F1 2022 that goes over the new features in this year’s entry.
To start with, players can select a new Immersive broadcast option for race day. Choosing this mode gives players control over formation laps, safety car periods, and pit stops. The trailer also reveals that errors can occur during pit stops.
In addition to Immersive mode, we get a look at F1 Life, a new social hub in which players can show off their supercars, fashion accessories, and trophies. Customize the hub, which acts as a multiplayer lobby, with flooring, seating, and art.
“F1 22 allows players to live their Formula 1 fantasies both on and off the track,” said Lee Mather, F1 Senior Creative Director at Codemasters. “Players are excited to enter the new era of Formula 1 with the introduction of new cars, regulations, and more control of race day moments. F1 22 enables players to be more social with their friends away from the circuit. The personalized space within F1 Life allows players to show off their collection of must-have cars and accessories and be the envy of friends and rivals.”
F1 2022 launches July 1st for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
