Exoprimal to let you slay hundreds of dinosaurs with your friends in 2023
Capcom has unveiled Exoprimal, a game that lets you slaughter hundreds of interdimensional dinosaurs with up to four friends in mecha suits. It’s no Dino Crisis, but it looks like it could be pretty fun.
In the world of Exoprimal, the year is 2043 and dinosaurs have started falling out of mysterious vortexes that have started to appear around the world. The only thing standing between humanity and the gnashing jaws of these swarms of dinos are the exofighters and their customizable combat suits.
The trailer shows off some of Exoprimal‘s frenetic, co-op multiplayer gameplay. Different exofighters appear to have different abilities, like Roadblack and their massive shield. One thing that might not be fully apparent from the trailer is that players can switch their exosuit at any time during a mission to adapt to whatever situation might arise.
The game’s official website has a ton more information, including the three classes of exosuits—Assault, Tank, and Support—that all fulfill different roles on the battlefield. You can also check out a video overview from the developers to learn more about the game.
Exoprimal launches in 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
