Everything included in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 2
Activision has revealed the full list of new content coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone during Season 2.
Starting with Black Ops Cold War, Naga will be joining the Warsaw Pact as a new Operator from the launch of Season 2. The former Warlord uses his established supply lines to move WMDs around the globe. Joining Naga during the season will be the NATO Operators Samantha Maxis, Wolf, and Rivas.
In addition to the new Operators, six new weapons will be added to the game throughout the second season. From launch, players will have access to the FARA 83 assault rifle and LC10 SMG, with the Machete special weapon, E-Tool melee weapon, R1 Shadowhunter special weapon, and ZRG 20mm sniper arriving later in the season.
Also on the way on launch day is the new Outbreak Zombies experience. This large-scale Zombies experience sees players traveling to Russia in the continuation of the Dark Aether story. Players will have to fight across massive play spaces filled with new enemies, objectives, rewards, vehicles, and intel. More information about this new mode will be shared closer to launch.
As for the new maps, players will be getting a new jungle-based 6v6 map at launch called Apocalypse. Later in the season, Activision will release the multi-team map Golova, 2v2 and 3v3 map Mansion, and a day time version of Miami for 6v6.
Other additions in Season 2 include Gun Game, Stockpile (6v6), a multi-team version of Hardpoint, the Death Machine Scorestreak, new seasonal challenges, and new Prestige levels to earn.
Moving onto Warzone, Season 2 will see new points of interest added to Verdansk and a new game mode being introduced called Exfiltration. In this mode, a radio will appear somewhere on the map and if a player secures and holds onto it for a certain period of time, they win the game. Finally, there’s the new Rebirth Island Resurgence Extreme mode, which ups the player count to 90.
