Epic Games Store adds cloud saves and Humble Bundle keyless integration

A new feature update has been pushed live for the Epic Games Store that introduces support for cloud saves on select games and keyless integration for Humble Bundle.

As of today, Epic Games Store users can take advantage of cloud saves in 17 more games, including Alan Wake, Darksiders III, Limbo, Mutant Year Zero, and World War Z. Epic added that it is “working with the developers of other released games to test cloud saves” and will extend the feature to more games over time.

The update also added support for keyless integration with Humble Bundle and the Humble Store. Users can now link their Epic and Humble accounts and purchase Epic Games Store titles from Humble Bundle without needing a redemption key. Purchased games will automatically appear in their Epic Games library.

“This is one step we are taking towards creating an open ecosystem for players, and we’re looking at more partnerships with highly reputable digital game sellers,” Epic said.

Looking forward, Epic plans to improve the installation experience for Ubisoft games, reduce patch download sizes, add a playtime tracking feature, and update the look of the game library.
