Elite Dangerous Odyssey’s third alpha phase begins
Frontier Developments has kicked off the third phase of Elite Dangerous: Odyssey’s alpha.
During this phase, the playable area has been expanded to 50 light years, a new spacesuit is available to purchase, and changes have been made to mission and reward balancing. Additionally, there’s a new player experience called First Footfall and the introduction of the Genetic Sampler tool that can be used for the Exo-Biology career. Elite Dangerous: Odyssey launches spring 2021 for PC, with a console release scheduled for fall 2021. The alpha is available for owners of the Lifetime Expansion Pass or Odyssey Deluxe Alpha expansion pack.
