Dynamax Ditto, Pichu, and more appearing in Pokémon Max Raid Battles
Pokemon Sword and Pokémon Shield players will begin encountering some new Dyanmaxed Pokémon in Max Raid Battles for a limited time, The Pokemon Company has announced.
From now until April 15th, players are more likely to encounter Dynamaxed versions of Ditto, Pichu, Cleffa, Togepi, Tyrogue, Wynaut, Budew, Bonsly, Mime Jr., Munchlax, Riolu, Mantyke, and Toxel. Players who manage to defeat any of these Pokemon have a chance to obtain a Destiny Knot, Everstone, or other items.
“To challenge these Pokémon in a Max Raid Battle, you’ll need to connect your Nintendo Switch system to the internet,” a message on the official Pokémon site adds. “Then, whenever you see a pillar of light shining from a Pokémon Den in the Wild Area, you can walk up to the Pokémon Den and interact with it to start a Max Raid Battle with a Dynamax Pokémon.”
Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield are available now on Nintendo Switch.
