Dying Light 2 Stay Human trailer(s) show off PS5, Series X mode options

Two new trailers for Dying Light 2 Stay Human show off the different mode options that PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X owners will have when the enter The City.

On PS5 and Series X, players will get to choose between three different options. Quality mode offers ray-tracing at the cost of resolution and frame rate. Resolution mode prioritizes native 4K over everything else. Finally, performance mode keeps the game running at a crisp 60 frames per second, though with a slight hit to resolution and no ray-tracing.

The trailers (one for PS5, one for Series X) show off all three modes in action. Both trailers have different gameplay footage, so diehard fans would do well to watch both. Here’s the PS5 one:

And here’s the Series X version:

Dying Light 2 developer Techland recently revealed that the game will take about 20 hours to beat if you just play through only the story missions once. But, according to the dev, players can squeeze over 500 hours of content out of the game before they do and see everything, including all of the game’s endings.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human launches February 4th for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. After getting delayed, the Nintendo Switch version is now set to launch within six months of that date.
