Dragon Ball: The Breakers gets a release date and new trailer
Asymmetrical multiplayer game Dragon Ball: The Breakers is coming to PC and consoles on October 14th, Bandai Namco has announced.
The game was announced earlier this year and pits seven Survivors against a single Raider playing as either Cell, Buu, or Frieza. The Survivors are ordinary civilians who have been sucked into a mysterious phenomenon called the “Temporal Seam” and must activate and use the Super Time Machine to escape.
Bandai Namco also revealed that a Closed Network test will be taking place on August 5th and August 6th. Register for the test here which will include Frieza and Cell as Raiders and Avatar, Oolong Survivor Skin, and Bulma Survivor Skin as Survivors. The exact times for each session can be found below:
- Session 1: August 5th – 7:00 p.m. PT – 11:00 p.m. PT
- Session 2: August 6th – 5:00 a.m. PT – 9:00 a.m. PT
- Session 3: August 6th – 11:00 a.m. PT – 3:00 p.m. PT
- Session 4: August 6th – 7:00 p.m. PT – 11:00 p.m. PT
Finally, the publisher unveiled a Special Edition and Limited Edition of the game. The former contains a customizable costume, the “Two-Handed Good” victory pose, and the “Dragon (Yellow)” vehicle skin. While the latter includes all of the Special Edition content plus a Steelbook, three Raider stickers, the Cell Shell Figure, and the “Potara (Green)” in-game accessory.
Dragon Ball: The Breakers launches on October 14th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
