Dragon Ball FighterZ is getting a PS5 and Xbox Series X/S upgrade, rollback netcode
Bandai Namco and Arc System Works made a couple of big announcements for Dragon Ball FighterZ at EVO 2022.
First, the game is getting a PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S upgrade. Players can expect visual improvements and more responsiveness from the game on current-gen consoles. More information about the upgrade will be shared “at a later date.”
Additionally, rollback netcode is being implemented for the game on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Rollback netcode predicts the inputs of the opponent and then corrects it on the fly to offer a smooth experience regardless of connection quality.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
