Disney Dreamlight Valley update calms Donald Duck down, fixes quest bugs
Update: The Scar update is now available to download. Players can now befriend Scar from The Lion King, explore the Plateau’s mines, find new Halloween-themed items, and work through a villainous Star Path.
Original Story: Gameloft has shared the list of fixes and optimizations it is bringing to Disney Dreamlight Valley as part of the game’s first major update.
According to the patch notes, stability and performance have been improved on Nintendo Switch and PS4, interior lighting has been improved, wood spawns have been rebalanced, and improvements have been made to the performance of large gardens, which will make pumpkin farmers very happy.
Additionally, water characters are now more likely to approach players, Donald Duck won’t have as many tantrums, and numerous quest-related bugs have been fixed, including Anna, Elsa, Mother Gothel, and WALL-E.

In addition to the above changes, this update includes some new content to keep players busy. Scar will arrive in the Valley as a new character, the main story will progress, and a new Star Path is being added.
This update is due to release later today, October 19th, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
