DIRT 5’s point-to-point Rally Raid event shown off in new trailer
Codemasters has shared a new trailer for DIRT 5 that introduces us to Rally Raid, one of the point-to-point events in the game.
According to the developer, Rally Raid events offer players “tough races on slippery slopes in a wide variety of terrains and in front of fascinating scenery.” The footage below shows a point-to-point race in China and features the Skoda Fabia R5 and Ford Fiesta R5 MKII:
Yesterday, Codemasters confirmed that Xbox One owners of DIRT 5 will be able to transfer their progress to the Xbox Series X/S version of the game when they upgrade. However, PlayStation 4 owners can only bring over their Playground creations to PlayStation 5.
DIRT 5 launches November 6th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, with an Xbox Series X/S release to follow on November 10th. PlayStation 5 and Stadia versions are also in development, but release dates have not been announced.
