DIRT 5 confirmed as a PlayStation 5 launch title
Codemasters has announced that the PlayStation 5 version of DIRT 5 will be available from November 12th in the U.S. and November 19th in Europe.
The PlayStation 5 version of the game will feature faster loading times, cross-generational multiplayer with PlayStation 4, support for 4K and 120 FPS, and DualSense haptic feedback and adaptive trigger support. Players will also be able to upgrade their PlayStation 4 version of the game to PlayStation 5 for free. However, as previously announced, progress (career, currency, and saved liveries) cannot be carried over to the next-gen release.
In other related news, Codemasters recently released a trailer for the game that showed off the Rally Cross class of cars in an Ultra Cross event.
DIRT 5 launches November 6th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. An Xbox Series X/S release is scheduled for November 10th, with the PlayStation 5 version to follow on November 12th.
