Digimon Survive has been delayed
Bandai Namco has announced another delay for tactical RPG Digimon Survive.
A potential delay for the game did surface earlier this year, but now it is official. In a message posted to Twitter, producer Habu Kazumasa explained that the release date is being moved to 2022 to give the development team more time “to enhance the quality of the game.”
“The entire development team is working as hard as we can on the game, and we kindly ask for your patience,” Kazumasa said. “We look forward to sharing more news and updates about Digimon Survive with you all, soon. Thank you again for your continued support.”
The game follows a group of teenagers led by Takuma Momozuka who end up being transported to the digital world after getting lost while on a camping trip.
Digimon Survive is now set to launch in 2022 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
