Defense Grid and Verdun are now free on PC
Epic Games is giving away more free games through the Epic Games Store this week.
The first of this week’s free games is Defense Grid: The Awakening. The tower defense game tasks players with stopping a horde of invading enemies by building fortification towers around their base. Tackle 20 unique environments that each have a different placement of roads, tower build locations, and open areas.
Joining it is M2H’s first-person shooter set in World War One Verdun. Battle on the Western Front across five different game modes using realistic WW1 weaponry. There are also maps based on real battlefields, authentic uniforms, and more.
Both Defense Grid: The Awakening and Verdun will be free to download and keep from the Epic Games Store until July 29th.
As for next week’s free games, Epic revealed that Mothergunship and Train Sim World 2 will be available.
