DC’s Justice League: Cosmic Chaos – Happy To Be Here
You’ve no doubt heard of iconic DC Comics universe locations such as Metropolis and Gotham City, but do you know the name Happy Harbor? What initially sounds like it might be a sleepy little resort town is actually an important historical locale—especially given it served as the site of the first headquarters for the Justice League of America.
“Happy Harbor is rooted in DC history from issue 28 of The Brave and the Bold to when Young Justice moved to town,” noted PHL Collective’s founder and studio manager Nick Madonna.
Happy Harbor certainly serves as an interesting choice of settings for DC’s Justice League: Cosmic Chaos, and thankfully, the team had a lot of leeway to craft the town in a way that would stand out from the other DC games on the market.
“As we worked with DC to flesh out Happy Harbor, we realized there was a lot of room for our imagination to go wild. We approached the design like a theme park, and created diverse regions with landmarks and callbacks to DC history,” said Madonna.
“We even got to carve out the side of a mountain to create our own Mount Justice,” he added.
