Cyberpunk 2077’s 1.1 update includes bug fixes, stability improvements
CD Projekt Red has released update 1.1 for Cyberpunk 2077 on PC, consoles, and Stadia.
This first major update for the game focuses on bug fixing and stability improvements, according to the developer. Players can expect improvements to memory usage across various systems in the game, optimizations for crowd performance on PlayStation, and the prevention of several crashes.
Additionally, there are bug fixes for Delamain calls ending immediately, Judy teleporting underground, rewards from Gig: Freedom of the Press being unobtainable, The Jungle achievement being unobtainable, and more. Read the full notes for update 1.1 here.
However, it’s not all good news, as it appears this update has introduced a new game-breaking bug that prevents the conversation with Takemura from taking place at “Down the Street.” CD Projekt Red has offered a workaround for players that requires the following steps:
- Load a gamesave before Takemura and V leave Wakako’s office.
- Finish the conversation with Takemura outside the office right away
- Right after the finished conversation and when the quest was updated, skip 23h.
- See if the holocall triggers and the dialogue with Takemura starts
Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Stadia. The game is also playable on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 via backward compatibility.
