Cyberpunk 2077 reveals PlayStation gameplay
Last week, we caught our first glimpse of Cyberpunk 2077 running on consoles with a video showing Xbox Series X and Xbox One X gameplay. Now, CD Projekt Red has followed up with a similar preview showing gameplay on PlayStation platforms.
The gameplay clocks in at a little shy of 7 minutes, and switches between PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation 5 footage. What you see comes from early on in the Nomad life path, one of three available to you when you start the game.
As with the Xbox video, it’s important to note that the PlayStation 5 footage doesn’t reflect a next-gen native build of the game. That won’t arrive until 2021—though it will be free if you already own a current-gen version. Instead, the footage shows the PlayStation 4 version running via backward compatibility on the new console.
Cyberpunk 2077 launches December 10th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC, with backward compatible support on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
