Cyberpunk 2077 PC hotfix addresses vulnerability
CD Projekt Red has addressed a recently discovered vulnerability in Cyberpunk 2077 on PC.
For those out of the loop, earlier this week, the developer warned players to be careful when using mods or custom saves with the game on PC due to the discovery of a vulnerability that allowed remote code execution. This issue has now been fixed with the release of hotfix 1.12.
Last week, CD Projekt Red released another hotfix for the game on all platforms that fixed a game-breaking bug introduced in the 1.1 update. The bug in question occurred in the “Down on the Street” mission and caused the phone call with Takemura to get stuck.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game is also playable on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 through backward compatibility.
