Cyberpunk 2077 is back on the PlayStation Store
CD Projekt Red has announced that Cyberpunk 2077 is once again available to purchase digitally on PlayStation through the PlayStation Store.
The developer warns that players “may continue to experience some performance issues” and that playing the game on PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation 5 “will provide the best experience on PlayStation.” Sony adds in the store listing that “purchase for use on PS4 systems is not recommended.”
As previously announced, a full PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S upgrade is on the way that will take full advantage of the more powerful consoles. The upgrade is scheduled to release at some point in the second half of 2021.
Sony removed the game from the store shortly after its release in December due to bugs and poor performance. At the time, the company offered all players who had purchased the game through the PlayStation Store a full refund. Microsoft also offered refunds to players, but did not remove Cyberpunk 2077 from sale.
CD Projekt Red has continued to fix bugs and improve performance since the game launched six months ago, with the latest update arriving last week.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
