Cyberpunk 2077 hotfix fixes save corruption issue, reduces crashes on consoles
CD Projekt Red has delivered a third post-launch hotfix for Cyberpunk 2077 that fixes a couple of issues.
To start with, Hotfix 1.06 addresses the recently discovered issue that caused save files to become corrupted on PC if they went over 8 MB in size. However, according to the developer, save files that were corrupted by this issue will not be fixed.
There’s also a fix for Dum Dum going missing during the Second Conflict mission and improvements to memory management on consoles, which should reduce crashes. Read the full list of changes below:
Quests
- Dum Dum will no longer go missing from Totentanz entrance during Second Conflict.
Console-Specific
- Improved memory management and stability, resulting in fewer crashes.
PC-Specific
- Removed the 8 MB save file size limit. Note: this won’t fix save files corrupted before the update.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
