Cross-platform play coming to Minecraft on PS4 tomorrow
Mojang has announced that it will be updating Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition to the Bedrock version tomorrow, December 10th.
This update means that cross-platform play will be activated on Sony’s console, allowing players to play with Xbox One, Windows 10, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. It also means that PlayStation 4 players gain access to the Minecraft Marketplace and can carry their purchases and progress to other platforms.
The Bedrock update is free for all owners of Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition.
Minecraft is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, Windows 10, iOS, and Android.
