Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time announced for Xbox One and PS4
Following a leak over the weekend, Activision has officially announced that a new Crash Bandicoot game is in development at Toys for Bob.
Tilted Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, this upcoming entry picks up where Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped left off. Neo Cortex and Dr. N. Tropy have escaped their interdimensional prison and fractured the boundaries of time and space in the process, so now it’s up to Crash and Coco to put things right.
The big new addition in It’s About Time are the four Quantum Masks, powerful guardians of time and space that grant Crash and Coco new powers. Two masks have been revealed so far: Kupuna-Wa (the Time Mask), who allows players to slow down time, and Ika Ika (the Gravity Mask), who lets players defy the laws of physics by running on the ceiling.
Players will also be able to take control of Neo Cortex, tackle new boss battles, and use numerous new tricks, including wall running, rail grinding, and rope swinging.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time launches October 2nd for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Players who preorder the game will receive the Totally Tubular Skins for Crash and Coco.
