Civilization VI December update adds City State picker
The next big update for Civilization VI will arrive on PC and consoles next week, developer Firaxis Games has confirmed.
The update, which is scheduled to go live on December 17th, will introduce the option to select which city states appear when setting up a new game. By navigating to advanced options, players can choose to either have a random selection from all city states or a customized selection.
In addition to this new feature, the December update will make a number of balance changes to the game. According to the developer, players can expect changes to ley lines and secret societies, a balance pass for social policies in Gathering Storm, and a reduction in the boost requirements for several techs.
Finally, a new stop asking button is being added that will prevent AI civilizations from continuously making requests or demands. Find out more about the December update in the video below:
