Cities: Skylines trailer celebrates the release of the Plazas and Promenades DLC

Colossal Order is putting the focus on the pedestrians of the city with its latest DLC expansion for city-builder Cities: Skylines.

The Plazas and Promenades DLC, which is available now, introduces pedestrian-only streets to the game to help keep city centers free of most vehicles and pollution as well as new policies, including¬†“Slow Driving,” which makes it so all roads in a pedestrian area, except highways, get a speed limit of 20 km/hour.

In addition to the above, players can now select the offices, high-density residential areas, and high-density commercial areas district specializations. Using these specializations on an area “will spawn buildings with a different visual appearance and a gameplay effect.”

Joining the DLC are the Mid-Century Modern and Seaside Resorts Creators Packs, and two new radio stations.

Cities: SkylinesPlazas and Promenades DLC is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
