Cities: Skylines trailer celebrates the release of the Plazas and Promenades DLC
Colossal Order is putting the focus on the pedestrians of the city with its latest DLC expansion for city-builder Cities: Skylines.
The Plazas and Promenades DLC, which is available now, introduces pedestrian-only streets to the game to help keep city centers free of most vehicles and pollution as well as new policies, including “Slow Driving,” which makes it so all roads in a pedestrian area, except highways, get a speed limit of 20 km/hour.
In addition to the above, players can now select the offices, high-density residential areas, and high-density commercial areas district specializations. Using these specializations on an area “will spawn buildings with a different visual appearance and a gameplay effect.”
Joining the DLC are the Mid-Century Modern and Seaside Resorts Creators Packs, and two new radio stations.
Cities: Skylines‘ Plazas and Promenades DLC is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
