Building has finally returned to Fortnite
Fortnite players can once again make use of their building skills in the core modes of the game, Epic Games has announced.
With the launch of Chapter 3 Season 2 a couple of weeks ago, Epic took away building and introduced an Overshield feature that offered some added protection for players. Going forward, the Overshield has been removed from core modes and building has returned. The other new additions, such as faster movements and mantling, are sticking around.
Players who enjoyed their time in the game with no one building have the option to play the new Zero Build modes that were introduced last week. Zero Build offers the same gameplay players have been used to since the start of the season with no building, the Overshield, Ascenders, and mantling. Zero Build is available in Solo, Duos, Trios, and Squads.
Fortnite is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile.
