Borderlands 3’s Bloody Harvest event begins later this week
Gearbox Software has confirmed that Borderlands 3’s Bloody Harvest event will get underway on October 24th.
To take part in the event, players will need to have reached Sanctuary III. Aboard the ship, players will find a new character called Maurice, who will offer a repeatable quest that unlocks a new area called Heck. The quest requires players to acquire Hecktoplasm by defeating Haunted enemies found around the galaxy.
Once the required amount of Hecktoplasm has been collected, Maurice will open a portal to Heck. While in this new area, players will face undead Maliwan soldiers, fire-breathing Rakk-o’-Lanterns, and Captain Haunt, the final boss of Bloody Harvest.
A number of rewards are on offer during the event, including a new skin for each of the four Vault Hunters, an ECHO Device skin, a weapon trinket, and a global weapon skin. These new cosmetic items can be unlocked by completing a new set of challenges. In addition, a new legendary shotgun called Fearmonger and Anointed weapons that use the Terror mechanic will be available.
Bloody Harvest runs from October 24th through December 5th on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
