Borderlands 3 update makes balance adjustments to Amara, Moze, and FL4K

The latest hotfix for Borderlands 3 includes changes to Vault Hunters and weapons.

To start with, Amara has received some buffs with an increase in the distance that Phasegrasp reaches and a fix for a bug that was causing Alacrity to only reward one-point worth of reload speed bonus when multiple points were put into it.

While Moze has been nerfed slightly with an increase in the recharge delay of her Bloodletter Class Mod by 150 percent and a reduction in its recharge rate by 50 percent. To help balance things, Means of Destruction’s re-trigger delay has been reduced to 0.3 seconds.

“The Bloodletter class mod was creating some overwhelming synergies for Moze so we increased the delay and decreased the recharge rate of the shield to compensate,” Gearbox explains. “This should help encourage the intended use of this class mod, which is to heal shields manually, not automatically. Means of Destruction’s re-trigger delay was adjusted again because the change limited other builds beyond creating infinite grenades.”

The final Vault Hunter change is a buff for FL4K. Following the hotfix, the re-trigger delay of Leave No Trace has been massively reduced to just 0.3 seconds.

Elsewhere, the hotfix makes a few changes to weapons, including an increase in The Lob’s projectile tick damage, an increase in the damage of Creeping Death and Carrier, and a reduction in sniper rifle zoom levels.

In other news, Gearbox recently kicked off the second phase of its five-week anniversary event for Borderlands 3. As part of the event, players can currently enjoy a 100 percent chance for certain Rare Spawns to appear and an increased chance for them to drop legendary loot.
