Borderlands 3 update increases the level cap, adds new SDU upgrades
A new update is coming for Borderlands 3 that adds support for the game’s fourth campaign add-on: Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck.
In addition to adding support for the DLC, today’s update increases the level cap by five levels to 65 and introduces two more ammo SDU upgrades for pistols, shotguns, submachine guns, assault rifles, and grenades. There are also two new expansion SDU upgrades for the Lost Loot machine.
Another area of focus in this update is Mayhem Mode. Following the update, players will have the chance to redeem themselves in Fight For Your Life while Slayer is active and Mayhem damage scaling support has been added to shields with Nova and Reflect.
Finally, Amara’s Ties that Bind augment now only passes gun and melee damage to prevent certain types of damage being passed to enemies via Phasegrasp. Read the full patch notes here.
