Borderlands 3 hotfix makes changes to loot drops and Eridium rewards
A new hotfix is now live for Borderlands 3 on all platforms that makes adjustments to loot drops and the amount of Eridium awarded from Vault Card Chests.
Following the hotfix being installed, the amount of loot that drops from all bosses has been increased and the drop weights for legendary items has been adjusted to reduce the number of sniper rifles received. Additionally, Class Mods and Artifacts now have a higher chance to drop from bosses and the Proving Grounds Trials chests, and the chance to get legendary items from Proving Grounds Trials chests has been increased.
This hotfix also increases the Eridium rewarded from Vault Card Chests to 500 and bumps up the amount of Eridium dropped by Circle of Slaughter bosses.
“Last week we gave Proving Ground Trials Class Mods and Artifacts to create a more reliable end game farm for those items,” developer Gearbox Software added. “This week we are adding more Eridium to Slaughter bosses. Each boss (only Red Rain in the Slaughterstar 3000) will drop an additional stack of Eridium that will reward players 500 Eridium.”
The complete list of patch notes for this latest hotfix can be found over on the game’s official website.
Borderlands 3 is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
