Borderlands 3 has two graphics options on PlayStation 4 Pro
Gearbox Software has revealed that Borderlands 3 will offer two graphical options on PlayStation 4 Pro.
In a PlayStation Blog post, online and social product owner Scott Velasquez confirmed that players can choose between “favor resolution” and “favor performance” on the Pro. Favor resolution will target the highest resolution possible while capping the game at 30 FPS. While favor performance targets 60 FPS at 1080p.
“One interesting note is that when favoring resolution on a TV that only supports 1080p, the game will supersample from the higher resolution using the console’s hardware,” he added. “Because of this, the 1080p output will look sharper in this mode than it normally would, again thanks to the power of the PS4 Pro.”
Yesterday, Gearbox released a new trailer for the upcoming entry that introduced us to Amara the Siren.
Borderlands 3 will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC from September 13th.
