Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night adds Classic Mode and Kingdom crossover
505 Games and ArtPlay have delivered Classic Mode and a crossover with Kingdom: Two Crowns for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Classic Mode sends Miriam into an 8-bit aesthetic world armed only with her Sword-whip. In this mode, Miriam must enter the demonic castle to face Gebel and survive five stages and five sub-bosses along the way. Players will be graded on their time, score, and number of deaths upon completion. Classic Mode can be found under Extra Modes on the main menu.
In addition to Classic Mode, 505 Games has partnered with Raw Fury again to bring a new area to Ritual of the Night based on Kingdom: Two Crowns. Players will find a new boss in this area, the Archer Familiar Shard, and the Crown Head Gear, which reduces damage at the cost of gold.
“We remain dedicated to giving our fans new ways to experience Bloodstained, and our collaboration with Raw Fury spanning the last two years has opened both of our worlds,” Koji Igarashi, founder of Artplay, said. “In addition to the Kingdom: Two Crowns crossover, we’re also now opening Classic Mode, a new gameplay experience that will deliver a rush of nostalgia that many of our fans crave.”
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
