Bayonetta 3 gets a release date and new trailer
Nintendo and PlatinumGames have revealed that Bayonetta 3 is coming to Nintendo Switch on October 28th, 2022.
In the upcoming entry, the Umbra Witch Bayonetta must join forces with some familiar faces and a number of other Bayonettas to deal with the human-made Homunculi that are threatening the planet. Bayonetta 3 also introduces the playable witch-in-training Viola, who fights using a samurai sword alongside her feline demon companion Cheshire.
The latest trailer, which can be seen below, shows Bayonetta and Viola fighting the Homunculi across numerous cities with help from the coven of Bayonettas.
Nintendo also announced a Trinity Masquerade Edition of the game which will be available from select retailers and the My Nintendo Store. This special edition contains a full-color 200-page art book and reversible game cases for all three Bayonetta games. However, the Trinity Masquerade Edition only contains a copy of Bayonetta 3.
