Back 4 Blood’s Tunnels of Terror expansion arrives alongside new update

Back 4 Blood’s first expansion, Tunnels of Terror, is now live on all platforms along with a new update.

The expansion introduces Ridden Hives, a new type of activity that sees players venturing underground to tackle a new type of Ridden known as Warped Ridden. Survive the adventure to earn a number of new rewards. In addition to the hives, players can brave the night as new Cleaners Heng and Sharice and earn exclusive Character Skins, Weapon Skins, and Cards in this expansion.

While the accompanying April Update includes a new difficulty setting titled No Hope. This harder difficulty offers players “significant rewards.” Additionally, players can now remove attachments from weapons, get SP bonuses for joining through Quickplay, and will have fewer Alarm Doors to deal with on Campaign Maps.

A number of balance adjustments have also been made with this update, such as a reduction in Doc’s Team Trauma Resist and reductions in Team Health and Ammo. Read the full patch notes here.

Tunnels of Terror is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. As previously announced, players who do not own the content can still access it by being in a party with someone who does.
