Back 4 Blood’s third expansion has arrived
Warner Bros. Games and Turtle Rock Studios have released River of Blood, the third expansion for Back 4 Blood.
River of Blood includes Act 6 of the campaign in which players will be fighting their way upriver across five different maps. The team of Cleaners will be stopping at various points along the river to collect supplies and clear out Ridden.
There’s also a new playable Cleaner in this expansion. Tala is a bow-wielder who escaped from the Children of the Worm and is looking to return for her brother Derek. She can also summon a Tallboy companion named Jeff to aid her in battle.
Completing the River of Blood expansion are eight character skins, 12 weapon skins, and new weapons, accessories, and cards.
Joining the DLC is a free update that introduces a new cooperative PvE mode known as Trial of the Worm. In this mode, players must work through a four-map chain to earn Supply Points.
River of Blood is available now as part of the Back 4 Blood Annual Pass, Back 4 Blood: Deluxe Edition, and Back 4 Blood: Ultimate Edition, or as an individual purchase.
