Back 4 Blood gets Offline Campaign with progression, Burn Cards, and more this week

Back 4 Blood will finally get a solo campaign with the release of the December update, developer Turtle Rock Studios has announced.

The update, which is scheduled to go live tomorrow, allows players to progress and unlock cards during the campaign when playing offline or solo.

Also being added is a new time-limited Supply Line titled Roving Merchants for players to spend their Supply Points on. Roving Merchants features a new type of card called Burn Cards that “can be played in each Saferoom to gain temporary effects like instant healing, currency boosts, increasing resistances, and more.”

In addition, three new non-Burn Cards are being introduced that increase Quickslot inventory and Team Quickslot inventory. Read the full patch notes here.

Looking forward, the developer plans to release a new difficulty, more cards, a new co-op mode, updates for melee combat, and more quality of life improvements, as well as the first post-launch expansion for the game.

Back 4 Blood is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
