Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s release date has been moved up
Ubisoft has announced that it is bringing Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s release date forward to make it an Xbox Series X launch title.
The game was originally given a November 17th release date, but will now launch for Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Uplay and the Epic Games Store on November 10th.
As previously announced, players who purchase the game on Xbox One will be able to upgrade to the Xbox Series X or S version at no additional cost.
“We are excited to announce that players will be able to discover Assassin’s Creed Valhalla sooner than expected,” Julien Laferrière, producer on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, said. “We cannot wait to see the world we’ve been creating over the past three years coming to life on all platforms, including on the next generation of consoles with the Xbox Series X | S on 10th November.”
Ubisoft also revealed that the Xbox Series X version of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will run at 4K and 60 FPS. The next-gen release features higher resolution textures, improved shadow quality, and higher clutter density.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla now launches on November 10th for Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game will also be available on PlayStation 5 from launch.
