Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s final content update launches next month
Ubisoft has confirmed that the final content update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, known as The Last Chapter, will be going live on December 6th.
This final update will offer players “a touching and intimate conclusion to Eivor’s saga” and “tie up some of the storylines developed throughout the game,” according to Ubisoft. It will also introduce the option for players to keep Eivor’s hood equipped when not wearing the cloak.
To access The Last Chapter, players need to have completed the main storyline, completed the mythical story arcs of Asgard and Jotunheim, upgraded their settlement to level five, constructed the Jomsviking barracks, and killed all targets of the Order of the Ancients.
Ubisoft also shared an update on the New Game+ feature. Sadly, it’s not good news, as the publisher stated that it has no plans to add the feature.
“When investigating the implementation of New Game+, we realized that the depth of the game gave us limited options to make replayability unique and rewarding,” a blog post explains.
Finally, time-limited events will no longer be running in Valhalla. All rewards from these events can be purchased from merchants throughout England after completing The First Night of Samhain quest.
