Assassin’s Creed Origins 60 FPS update being looked into
Ubisoft has revealed that it is currently “looking into” upgrading Assassin’s Creed Origins to 60 FPS on consoles. The announcement was made over on Twitter to celebrate Assassin’s Creed Day.
Origins was originally released in 2017 and tells the story of how the Assassin’s Brotherhood was founded in Ancient Egypt. This entry is also the debut of the action-RPG gear system that has since been used in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Currently, the game is locked to 30 FPS on PlayStation and Xbox.
Back in August, Ubisoft delivered an update for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey that bumped the game’s FPS from 30 to 60 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC, and Stadia.
