Apex Legends Genesis Collection Event begins
The Genesis Collection Event is now live in Apex Legends alongside the arrival of Revenant’s Heirloom.
During the limited-time event, a Takeover is active that brings back the original Season 0 version of Kings Canyon with Skull Town and the Season 3 version of World’s Edge. The maps will rotate every hour for both Duos and Trios. Additionally, Skull Town is available as an Arenas map for the duration of the event.
A new event also means new rewards to earn. By completing challenges and working through the Prize Track, players can unlock a new skin for Wattson, legendary skins for the Charge Rifle and EVA-8, new trackers, and more.
On top of this, there are 24 new cosmetics to unlock through Genesis Event Apex Packs, including new legendary skins for Bangalore, Gibraltar, Loba, and more. Collecting all 24 of these cosmetics will unlock Revenant’s Heirloom. All of these cosmetics can also be acquired through a direct purchase with Apex Coins or by trading in crafting mats.
Finally, a new update has been released that increases the cooldown of Octane’s launch pad, increases the climb height of Revenant’s Stalker passive, increases Lifeline’s hitbox, and more. Read the full patch notes here.
